Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, PFP is a multi-disciplinary graphic design, web, and software development company. We specialize in creating rich internet applications that push the boundaries of traditional web sites in terms of both usability and utility.

Established in 2006 by three undergraduates at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, the founders of PFP have a range of experience across the software development spectrum, allowing for very effective collaboration on our projects.

We look forward to seeing how we can help you with your web development endeavors.

Brandon is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in software engineering. Within PFP, Brandon is the visual design and user experience expert. He spends most of his development time in client-side languages like Silverlight and Javascript. When he's not programming, he's developing user interfaces and prototypes using Photoshop and Flash.

When not working, he enjoys playing with new technologies, 3D modeling, playing disc golf, and hiking.

Charlie is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in computer engineering. He is also currently working on his MBA at Xavier University. At PFP he is a jack of all trades, but specializes in RIA development with Flex, PHP, and MySQL.

When not working, he likes to play disc golf wherever he can find a course. He also enjoys any outdoor sports he can find to get involved and of course playing video games - cause really, what geek doesn't like to do that?

Mike is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in computer science and mathematics. He is in charge of keeping the PFP servers up and running, and is happiest when on a command line. For RIA projects, you will generally find him working on the server side programming, although he does enjoy forcing browsers to his will with Javascript.

When not working, he enjoys coding for fun (often writing something which will become fodder for one of our blog articles), and reading copious quantities of fiction.

GamingTextures Screenshot

This was a completely custom site built to solve two major problems with finding quality textures for game development purposes. The first problem was how difficult it is to find related images on many current texture sites, so we developed a relationship tree for textures. The second problem was the difficulty of searching and browsing large collections, so we developed an interface that allows a user have as many ongoing searches as they want, without needing to open dozens of new browser windows.

The Lasered Graphic Engraving online store is a highly customized install of the open source commerce engine, osCommerce. This project consisted of a complete graphics overhall, a new product listings interface, and integrating product customization (by the customer) into the checkout process.

This is our retreat where we share our knowledge of programming and web development with anyone who will listen. Technologies we talk about include Flex, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and really whatever we feel interested in at the moment. You will also be able to find our random thoughts on anything else happening in the programming world. This is our pet project which we plan on expanding and enhancing at time goes on.

SRB School Screenshot

We developed this simple but elegant website from scratch to be the online presence for St. Robert Bellarmine school. It is integrated with a number of external services, such as Google Calendar for the school calendar, and Flickr for photo albums.

We just finished developing an extensive RIA for Avery Dennison utilizing Flex and PHP as the primary technologies. The project has not been released to the public yet so we can't talk much more about it. You can expect us to update this when the project goes public.
